The Rotterdan Shortsea Terminal (RST) receives first call of Boluda Lines in these waters, within its short-sea new distance service that connects Santander-Tilbury-Rotterdam, setting a historical milestone.

The ship ‘Lucia B’ has starred in this first call that the company Boluda Lines offers as part of its recently inaugurated short-sea container transport service, which strategically connects the ports of Santander, Tilbury, and Rotterdam.

A milestone for Boluda Lines as part of its ambitious expansion strategy in Europe and a further example of the company’s commitment to its customers in Spain, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.

Gorka Carrillo, CEO of Boluda Shipping, said: ‘Today is certainly a date that will be remembered in the history of Boluda Lines. The first commercial call of a new service and in a new port such as Rotterdam, with which we respond to our customers by focusing on efficiency, sustainability and intermodality’.

The new line comes in addition to the one already operating at full capacity since last September, which connects the ports of Santander and Vilagarcía, Leixoes, Setúbal, Cádiz and the Canary Islands with the ports of Liverpool and Dublin.
